Well, this thread has been dead FAR too long, so much has happened that keeping this silent would be foolish.
In the last months we have pulled together something that might, when the switch is thrown this friday, be able to print stuff!
The details are a secret until we can post the completed thing, but let me say that I now am very good at designing flat things to cut out and bolt together. Trial and error, and coming up with lots of new designs as fast as we can finish them, we have nearly run out of school year.
No worries though, we will be meeting over the summer, and have access to the lab every friday at the very least.
FredS has been an INCREDIBLE help to us, volunteering hours and hours every week to mentor the club, we could never have gotten anywhere without him.
Hopefully, we will have something interesting within a week or so, the next step is assembly and electronics.
